Beinn a Bheithir – 29/01/11

Guided Annette, Duncan and Victoria on the Ballachulish Horseshoe.  What a fantastic day.  Went up the North East ridge as the snow had gone and then carried on round.  Descended from the bealach between Sgorr Dearg and Sgorr  Dhonuill down the new forestry path.  Good snow on the ascent to Sgorr Dearg and onto the top of Sgorr Dhonuill.  Very tricky descent conditions as the turf was frozen a long way down the mountain.  Good scottish winter cramponing.  However fantastic weather, and check out the brockenspectres
