Schiehallion – 10th April

Finally managed to make it to the east coast(ish!) to climb this iconic mountain which we often see from Glencoe

Parked in the car park (£2 required) and climbed up.  The ascent is on a good path and there were alot of families on the way .  Once you reach the ridge it is still a good 40 minutes to the summit so beware.

The path from here becomes indistinct and the ground underfoot very rocky.  Met John and Rozanne on the summit – last climbed together over 30years ago.  Hope I can still make it up in my 70’s
