Wild Camping Trip – 25th-27th May 2012

What a cracking summer, and with the forecast set dry and fine, Liam and I set off up into the Mamores.

We headed up on Friday night and set up camp at Corrie an Lochain, then watched the sunset

The next day we set off up Sgurr Eilde Mor, then over to Binnean Beag, our first new Munro together.  After a quick dip in the Lochan an the foot of Binnean Beag, we scrambled up the ridge onto Binnean Mor and took a well deserved rest.  We were then able to descend to our tent for the night and watch another great sunset.

Doesn’t happen often in the Scottish hills, a weekend with no waterproofs
