German Alpine Club August 2013

I was lucky to be asked to take this group for two days during their Highland Walking tour.  We did the easy Stob a Coire Odhair on the Monday which they romped up.

Given their walking history, I did not want to take them up the tourist route up Ben Nevis so we agreed an alternative, starting off at the Steall Falls waterfall and ascending from there.

It was a wonderful day – photos are in the gallery below, and we did not meet a single soul until we emerged onto the summit plateau – an achievement in itself.
