Sgor na h-Ulaidh 21st April 2014

Hi all.

Well it has been a long and unsatisfactory walking winter, but here I was out with Liahm to bag another munro.

We headed up the Glen with an idea of ascending directly onto the col to the east of the summit via Dickie’s pass however there was too much snow still around so we cut East up onto the ridge.  There was still a bit of a snow bank at the top of this and on the ridge to the summit, however it was soft enough and we managed without crampons.

We carried on heading west and descended via the fence.  Once again I remembered how steep this is and must not go this way with a group.  You carry on heading west and the ground slackens and you head round North into the bealach.

Well done wee man
